அனுராதபுரம், மெதவச்சிய பிரதேசத்தில் வசிக்கும் 54 வயதுடைய மூன்று பிள்ளைகளின் தாயே உயிரிழந்துள்ளார்.
சுவாசக் கோளாறு காரணமாக குறித்த பெண் மதவாச்சி வைத்தியசாலையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டு மேலதிக சிகிச்சைக்காக அனுராதபுரம் போதனா வைத்தியசாலைக்கு மாற்றப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
அங்கு குறித்த பெண் உயிரிழந்த நிலையில், அவருக்கு கொரோனா தொற்று இருப்பது மருத்துவ பரிசோதனையில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
